Edward VIII Coronation medallions are fairly scarce. No official ones were issued as the Coronation never took place. Edward abdicated before he was crowned. Numerous commercial companies were undoubtedly planning to issue their own medallions as advertising and publicity pieces. It seems to have worked because Rwowntree's are still getting free publicity on this medallion.
