Straits Settlements, Queen Victoria, 50 Cents, 1890 H, nearly very fine with chopmarked "和" ("he" in pin yin) on reverse. Scarce date. Circulated in China, Qing dynasty. Straits Settlements coins are seldom seen with Chinese chopmarked on them. This is one of the few Straits coins with chopmarked I have seen so far, compare to other type such as Chinese coinages, British trade dollar, US trade dollar, Mexican 8 Reales/Peso...etc.
