Description:
2 Zlote Y#534 8.1500 g., Brass, 27 mm. Subject: Animals of the World Obv: An image of the eagle established as the emblem of the republic of Poland. Below the eagle, the notation of the year of issue: 2010, underneath, an inscription:zŁ 2 zŁ. On the sides of the eagle’s legs stylised images of the national flag of the republic of Poland. At the top a semicircular inscription: RZECZPOSPOLITA POLSKA (republic of Poland). the mint’s mark: M/W, under the eagle’s left leg Rev: On the left-hand side, an image of an adult marmot standing on its hind legs. On the right-hand side, an image of a young marmot sitting on a mountain rock. In the background, a stylised image of a mountain landscape. At the top, a semicircular inscription, ŚWISTAK – Marmota marmota. Edge: An inscription, NBP, eight times repeated, every second one inverted by 180 degrees, separated by stars.
