AE Commemorative Medal France, Napoleon, The Battle of Austerlitz or Battle of the Three Emperors, 1805, by B. Andrieu, laureate bust of Napoleon r., rev. bust of Alexander I and Joseph II of Austria vis-à-vis, both laureate, edge plain, 40.5mm. (Br. 446; Julius 1451; Diakov 301). The battle was fought on 2 December, 1805 and Andrieu dates the medal under his signature on the obverse truncation, ‘II DECEMBRE MDCCCV’.
