Description:
½ Penny Conder Token.
For those who have wondered where the term 'Conder' comes from, Bell says 'James Conder was a linen draper at Tavern Street, Ipswich; and was an ardent collector of tokens, and the author of the standard work on the subject until it was superseded by that of Atkins in 1892. He also issued three private tokens.'
