Peace and Luck, Austria. Tentatively dated around 1790 this jeton is paper thin and is probably as struck, with little or no wear. It could easily date from as early as 1780 though I suspect it has something to do with the expected wind-down of the Austro-Russian War with the Ottoman Empire. If so, it was probably struck early in the year with Joseph dying in February and succeeded by Leopold.
