Ok, this coin is depicted a bit too red in the picture, but the story is that this coin is a double overstrike. 1757 2 kopeks over 1756 1 kopek over 1727(? - date unreadable) 5 kopek coin. You don't need a good eye to tell that this is a double overstrike - there is a date, 1756 at the bottom of the obverse and there is a faint cross at the background in the reverse. Fasinating piece! :)
