Description:
Hungary, 1 denár, no date, Ag, from king II. András (1205-1235, Andrew II). He was infamous of bringing in many Roman (at that time the Germans were called Romans in Hungary, because of the Germo-Roman Empire), into the country. It was also under his rule that Father Julianus visited Central Asia (river Don) where the original settlements of the Magyars could still be found. Father Julianus also raise the attention to the threat of the Mongol invasion but his son (IV. Béla) was defeated at Muhi
