A rather large (50mm) replica of the 1558 `essai d'argent' of Francois II of France + Mary Queen of Scots. Part of a series produced by the French mint to celebrate rare french coins. This one in bronze with the cornucopia edge mark. I've not researched when it was actually struck but suspect it is fairly recent.
