Silver jeton for the `Societe de Medecine de Bordeaux'. Obverse shows bust of Hippocrates by Brenet (circa 1830). This jeton has no edge markings signifying it was produced prior to 1832. These jetons were re-struck into the 1860's but the restrikes have appropriate edge markings.
