Scarcer jeton issued under Louis XVI for `La Monnaie' in Paris. Undated but circa 1778. It has stunning toning to it when seen in the flesh. Sadly my scanner just doesn't pick up the rose gold and electric blue effects obverse or the varying hues of honey gold colours reverse. Obverse Louis XVI. reverse `Monnaie' seated with minting press to left.
