Rare silver jeton of Pierre le Marchant, Treasurer General of France and Kings Counsellor. This jeton was (I believe) struck as part of a prize fund set up in his name. Obverse his coat of arms. reverse two hearts on a twin peak with the legend `Aeternitati` (for eternity).
