The first and only gold sovereign Jersey has issued. Dated 2000 for the millennium year, shown is a proof, but there was also an uncirculated version issued. Mintage 2,000 each. Reverse shows William the Conqueror. Proofs were also issued as a pair with the 2000 UK proof sovereign.
