Our usual early preview (or should that be guess) of next year's gold sovereign. Of course, in 2007, the Royal Mint fooled us by re-engraving the dies, and in 2005 they issued a one-off new version of St. George and the dragon, but we reckon this should resemble the final product. We should be able to photograph both the uncirculated and proof versions during the first week in January 2008.
