Description:
Help! This copper jeton was originally issued in 1693 to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the French fleet's victory over the Spanish at Cartagena (1643). However this on has a `DI' counterstamp on both sides suggesting that it was used as currency somewhere. Possibly the carribean area. Any ideas? Dutch Indies? Guadeloupe?
