Comment: The coin you have is not the same as this one. The coin I have here is 25 centavos (100 centavos = 1 Peso). In 1967, the Philippines introduced a new currency (100 sentimos = 1 Piso) The new 25 sentimos coin has a similar obverse (The shield), but the reverse features the Bust of Juan Luna rather than the standing figure shown here. Your coin is worth $0.50 US in uncirculated condition, less if it is circulated.
