rare jeton issued for the kings counsellors of Francis II King of France and Scotland (husband of Mary Queen of Scots). This jeton being somewhat unusual in that he died in 1560. Obviously the jeton was ordered and manufactured prior to his demise. Either that or in memoriam by Charles IX, his younger brother.
