Description:
France, Louis XIV (1643-1715). Siamese Embassy To Louis XIV, 1686. 170.4 g, Bronze, 71.5mm. AU. (Note: A second Siam embassy, led by Kosa Pan (Siamese diplomat and minister), was sent to France to ratify the treaties. The embassy accompanied the returning embassy of Chevalier de Chaumont and traveled on the boats l'Oiseau and la Maligne. It brought a proposal for an eternal alliance between France and Siam and stayed in France from June 1686 to March 1687 (Source: Wikipedia)). Very rare.
