Description:
SASANID, pre-Islamic Iranian (Persian) empire, Peroz (Firuz I), (457-483 AD), silver drachm. Obv.: Bust to right with crown or headress of two turrets and a globe, crescent before or two wings instead, name in outer margin. Rev.: Fire altar with two attendants facing the altar with flames only above the altar. Good very fine.
