Description:
50 Litas KM#164 Silver Ag 925 Quality proof Diameter 38.61 mm Weight 28.28 g Dedicated to the Tytuvenai Architectural Ensemble(from the series Historical and Architectural Monuments of Lithuania). The stylised state Coat of Arms of the beginning of the 15th century Vytis is depicted on the obverse of the coin. The inscriptions LIETUVA (Lithuania), 2008 and 50 LITŲ (50 litas) are depicted around it. The Kaunas Castle is shown on the reverse of the coin. The inscription KAUNO PILIS (Kaunas Castle) is arranged in a semi-circle. The words on the edge of the coin: ISTORIJOS IR ARCHITEKTUROS PAMINKLAI (HISTORICAL AND ARCHITECTURAL MONUMENTS) Designed by Rytas Jonas Belevicius Mintage 10,000 pcs Issue 15.09.2009 The coin was minted at the UAB Lithuanian Mint.
