966 to 1966 1000 Years Polish Coins & Christianity Silver Medal by Polish American Numismatic Association in Chicago, Silver 60 MM.
Obv: Coat-of Arms of Kazimierz (Casimir) 1 Opolski, the first eagles appearing on the shields of the early Silesian princes were uncrowned. It is an example of the one from seal of Prince., ruler of the Principality of Opole-Raciborz in Upper Silesia (1211-1230). Showing Military figures from different eras, including a Christian Knight, soldiers from World War I and soldiers in armor sporting various coats-of-arm.Rev: Split into a grid containing 4 previously used coins of Poland, seperated in the middle by the emblem of the Polish American Numismatic Association. In the corner of the grid lies 4 different tools, most likely blacksmith tools.
