Subject: Poles saving Jews Obv: Image of the Eagle established as the State Emblem of the Republic of Poland, at the sides of the Eagle the notation of the year of issue, 20-09, underneath the Eagle, an inscription, ZŁ 2 ZŁ, in the rim an inscription: RZECZPOSPOLITA POLSKA, preceded and followed by six pearls. The Mint’s mark under the Eagle’s left leg: M/W Rev: A stylised image of a wall with a breach in the shape of a hand, in the middle. On the right-hand side, above the wall, an inscription, ŻEGOTA. On the left-hand side, above the wall, an image of barbed wire. At the top, a semicircular inscription, POLACY RATUJACY ŻYDÓW (Poles who saved the Jews).
