The obverse of the coin features a stylised Vytis, surrounded by the inscription LIETUVA (LITHUANIA), denomination (€20), year of issue (2015), and the mintmark of the Lithuanian Mint. The reverse of the coin features a boat with a sail shaped like the wing of a bird, the Lithuanian tricolour flag and a musical fragment of the national anthem; the inscription NEPRIKLAUSOMYBĖS ATKŪRIMAS 25 (RESTORATION OF INDEPENDENCE 25) is arranged in a semicircle. Designed by Rūta Ničajienė and Rytas Jonas Belevičius. Mintage 4,000 pcs. Issued 10-03-2015. The coin was minted at the state enterprise Lithuanian Mint. |
