| Bataille de Marengo, France. There's a bit of history to do with this medal in later years. This piece was apparently struck from the original dies. Though the catalogers tended to refer to this by the battle it's also important to realize that the event being shown on the reverse is the restoration of the Cisalpine Republic. |
