| Republic Française, France. An unusual piece that could date as late as 1860 given that this particular piece has a pointing hand hallmark on its edge. This indicates that it was struck between 1845-1860. Since Dupre and Barre worked on it it probably dates between 1819 and 1833. Given the subject it was probably engraved post-July Revolution. |
