| I came across this one via ebay. It was actually brought to my attention on rec.collecting.coins by a fellow Scot who laughingly made mention of the spelling of `Kirkcaldy' on the token. The spelling however is exactly the same as for the original. Indeed, this one is nigh on an exact match for the original `scarce as hen's teeth' token but...it is a replica. The only `original' I have ever seen in the flesh is in the museum at Kirkcaldy. |
