| Silver jeton issued for the lawyers (Avoues) of Lyon. Undated but circa 1800 -1804. Obverse shows Justice holding scales and Law holding an open book. Reverse gets weird though. Medusas head suspended from a palm tree. Full of significance only for lawyers no doubt. Very similar motto to that of Scotland. |
