| We will never understand French arithmetic. This 1993 dated coins is supposed to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Normandy landings which took place on 6th June 1944. We make that the 49th anniversary. Still it's an attractive coin, and everybody celebrated the millennium a year early! |
