| Doyenne de Chatelet (Monsieur Chenon)1789. This piece is strange in that it appears to have been struck in tin as opposed to the normal silver. It isn't a `trial' strike, as trials were uniface. It isn't a modern `fake' either. I'm stumped on this one! |
