| KM-2, 1861 1/26'th of a shilling; completely reingraved inscription on obverse (text and date) and partial reverse recut including doubling of 2 in denomination. All dots on lions are visible although the rightmost two on the top aminal are barely so which makes it the best example of this type I have. Die clash visible showing shield's vertical lines under the Queen's chin. Unfortunately looks like it was cleaned some time in the past making the color unnatural.... |
