The dies for this coin, however, were not used because of the erroneous mintmark which reads PAO YUAN (mint marks written in Manchu script on the reverse), indicating the Board of Works Mint in Peking. Trial strikes exist, uniface of both obverse & reverse). Extremely Rare. |
