| Interesting silver jeton issued during reign of Louis XVI. This was the only `type' jeton de presence issued for the Parties Casuelles during his reign, although there are differing bust varieties suggesting that the jeton was restruck on a number of different occasions before his demise. This one unsigned but looks to me to be much like the style of Gatteaux (bust no. 376). |
