| Turkey: 10 lira KM# 964 (1984-1989). Three varieties: 1) early portrait (hair represented by straight horizontal lines, turning vertical at a sharp angle) and narrow design features on rev. (crescent away from rim) above, 2) early portrait and medium design features on rev. center, 3) new portrait (hair represented by circular lines) and wide design features (crescent near rim) on rev. below. I've seen dates 1984 of the 1st version, '85 and '86 of the 2nd version, and '87 of the 3rd version. |
