| Iran 50 rials KM# 1237.1 with two different edge inscriptions. Above: 2 x Bank Markazi Iran. Below: Bank Markazi Jomhouri Islami Iran. The first version was supposedly issued with dates SH1359-61 and the second version with dates SH1361-65. There is a third variety, KM# 1237.2, same metal but altered design (incuse lettering on the map on reverse), this is uploaded here: http://www.omnicoin.com/coin_view.aspx?id=968682. There is also a fourth variety, made of nickel-coloured copper-nickel. |
