| scarcer quart d'ecu (1/4 ecu)`Dauphine' struck for Henri IV of France at Grenoble mint. This example has had a piece stamped out from it. Have never found out what this indicates, but it has not been done for jewellery purposes. More likely cut for use in the colonies. |
