| Here is a nice classic Spanish Milled dollar, or 8-reales or "priece of eight" recovered from the shipwreck of the El Cazador. This is my first Pillar dollar, minted before the adoption of the U.S. Constitution, a dollar like this one might have circulated at the founding of our Republic! I has some salt water damage, but overall looks pretty good for spending a couple hundred years at the bottom of the ocean! |
