KM-453.3, 1840 British India (East India Company) 1/4 rupee, Madras mint, S on truncation, no dot after date; silver, reeded edge; somewhat dulled about uncirculated specimen, few scratches, mostly on obverse, reverse is really nice, proof like surfaces as seen.
