KM-81, 1980 South Africa proof 1/2 cent; bronze reeded coin with sparrows on reverse; it is unusual for Sotuh Africa series to have the sme reverse motif but this series was cut short by economics and other then on 1970 was minted in small numbers, all under 20,000 pieces for both mint and proof sets until 1983 when it was finally discontinued; despite the matte appearance on the scan reverse is actually quite reflective, scanner sometimes plays games with the shades and light.
