Description:
KM-399, 1882 Mexico 5 centavos' copper nickel, plain edge; this was one of the first Mexico attempts out to replace silver for small coinage - 1, 2 and 5 centavos, obviously not very sccessul becaus it was not repeated until XX'th century; coin has either a flan defect or small rim nick on reverse, also several lamination peeling areas on both sides; about uncirculated for wear with original luster showing well, especially on obverse.
